Daylight Fooldream:
A visual Album Film
Daylight Fooldream is a 37 minute visual album film of one story told in ten music videos and three acts. A story of two realities of one person being guided from confusion to clarity and to each other with the help of their imagination, this story captures abstract multiversal curiosity through emotional and thought provoking moments. Those who have watched it have laughed, cried, and connected to this film in their own ways recalling it as a mind-bending trip and an emotional experience. This film was directed, produced, and edited by Alex Johnston and filmed by Mikaela Henderson in a span of two months between Everett and Seattle on an iPhone 14 and edited on a free version of DaVinci Resolve harnessing the potential of indie DIY music videos to ambitiously imaginative heights. This film premiered at Narrative Coffee in Everett on September 23rd 2023, and was also debuted later at the Fremont Abbey, The Lucky Dime, and Zamarama Gallery. You can experience the film below on YouTube and also watch the individual videos.
